If there was a tree created for the purpose of natural dyeing, it’s Eucalyptus. When introduced to my pot, some varieties yield the colour of the earth they spring from. Daubs of orange, ruby and coral; botanical prints that are bright and full of mystery, just like Australia’s Red Centre. In addition to the dye, the fabric imbibes the scent of the leaf. Something you might notice if the scarf gets damp.

The scarves are made from the finest silk and all have hand stitched edges.
